“Very demanding off the tee. I love most of everything about the course but if you miss the fairway by 5 yards you might need a new ball. Mostly unwalkable, but a great course”

“Union League National, my first “Jersey Shore” course, is an excellent Dana Fry/Jason Straka design on grounds of the former Sand Barrens. They kept the sand theme, with huge man-made dunescapes traversing interesting land. Circus greens were right speed & a blast! Great vibes!”

“Greens, while large, feel impossible at times and require strategic approach shots. Course was in immaculate shape otherwise. Would definitely want to play Meade over Sherman if I return.”

“A completely different experience compared to most golf in NJ. Massive fairways and greens make the course super playable and a blast. Only knock is the bunkers have way too many rocks and I have damaged wedges from trying to get out.”

“My home course. Very fun with great conditions and course always moves quickly. It’s very tight and doesn’t play long so you won’t need to hit driver on most holes so it can get repetitive”

“Fair but challenging course. Faster greens than most public courses. Grass range, nice pro shop. Multiple fun and unique holes. On the pricier side but worth it. Not walkable due to holes being spread far apart.”

“Over priced for what it is. Service is pretty bad. They threw a random 2 some with my group on hole 8 with a 2some who just showed up late. Rangers all over the place which you would think would make the round go faster but the front 9 was super slow.”

“Seaview Bay is a real old school Donald Ross design that relies on sea views, because the actual layout and conditions aren’t that great. Not a test for the modern game tipping out at just about 6,300. A few typical Ross greens but overall an underwhelming experience.”

“Fun links course, not much of a practice area. Can be confusing your first time there. Wide fairways and gettable par 4/5s. Not the most challenging course out there but lots of fun”

“Very overrated. Very hard. Layout is silly at times. Too much manufactured land. Rolling hills in the rough. Small boring greens. Easy to lose a ball all day. 1 or 2 fun holes. Better places to play near the shore towns.”
