Hidden Creek Course
Egg Harbor Township, NJ, USA

Hidden Creek, nestled in the heart of Egg Harbor Township, evokes a sense of understated exclusivity, attracting a loyal membership drawn to its challenging layout and convivial atmosphere. The course, carved from the South Jersey landscape, presents a modern parkland design, distinguished by its strategic bunkering and meticulously maintained greens. It favors the thoughtful player, where controlled approaches and accurate iron play are rewarded over sheer distance. The generous fairways offer a degree of forgiveness off the tee, but errant shots quickly find trouble amongst the native grasses and strategically placed water hazards. Designed by Dana Fry and Michael Hurdzan, Hidden Creek opened its doors in 2002 and quickly established itself as a respected test of golf in the region. While not a regular stop on the professional circuit, the club has hosted several prestigious amateur events, showcasing its commitment to the game's truest form. The club is known for its welcoming, yet traditional style of golf. Beyond the golf, Hidden Creek fosters a close-knit membership, drawn from the surrounding community and beyond. While the course presents a stern challenge, the atmosphere in the clubhouse remains warm and inviting. The club is famous for its Wednesday night mixer tournaments, which has attracted quite a buzz among the membership, known as the WNM (Wednesday Night Mixer) where golfers are put into teams and must use both brains and brawn to win.
