Colt and Donald Ross, Plum Hollow has seen subtle enhancements over the years by Jerry Matthews. The course has been home to the 1947 PGA Championship won by Jim Ferrier, as well as the Western Amateur and Michigan Amateur Championships. While not nationally recognized among the game's elite layouts, it remains a revered test within the region.
