Course is in a league of its own. Every hole a masterpiece. However, tee times are packed, and there’s a big rush to push everyone through their round ahead of schedule. Had a poor experience with one of our caddies as well. Turtle soup is a must. Probably didn’t help that I played the worst golf of my life that weekend.

This was a religious experience to be. I hope I can be back to play again. The club experience and locker room were the highlights of the day for me. So much history wrapped into a clubhouse that seems stuck in time. The course was great, a challenge that I hope I can get again. Pine Valley will hold its spot at #1 for a long while more in my book it seems.
There’s a reason it’s at the top of every list; it’s because it’s as good as it gets. The routing, the variety, the conditions. Every part of it is what makes Pine Valley. Each hole could be named the “signature hole” and what I think makes it so great is each hole is totally unique all while all 18 tie in seamlessly to create arguably the greatest course in the world.
Truly the most amazing experience in golf. I stayed overnight in the lodge and got my practice in on the short course the day prior. That said, nothing can prepare you for this experience. No flat lies is no joke. This place will kick your ass especially if you didn’t sleep the night before. The course is more of a mental battle than physical. It is long and requires pinpoint placement, but it’s completely fair and scoreable at its core. There were no gimmicks out there. Hit the ball to the right spot off the tee and you have a great chance at par. I didn’t have my best day score-wise, but it may be the best day I’ll ever have golfing. The people there are wonderful and every man, young or old, that walks the grounds is just happy to be there. There is no better place than Pine Valley.
Number 1 for a reason. The only place you could poll 18 different people and get 18 different answers for what they thought the best hole on the course is.
Don’t think it gets much better than this. All expectations I had coming in were shattered. So many incredible holes that I’ll remember for a long time to come.
One of the only courses you instantly remember all 18 holes after playing. Really not a single hole thats even average, and maybe 9 you could choose as your favorite. Really doesn't get better
Simply the best.
Best of the best. The experience is truly world class. Every hole is thought provoking and phenomenal. Nothing I can add that others already havent. Hell’s Half Acre lived up to its name. Not a blade of grass out of place, and the course combines all schools of golf architecture in one while achieving a natural look with the bunkers.
