RiverWinds Course
West Deptford, NJ, USA

While not steeped in century-old traditions, RiverWinds presents a contemporary golfing experience sculpted within the region's unique landscape. Designed by an unknown architect, the course exhibits modern characteristics, featuring generous fairways and strategically placed water hazards that come into play on several holes. The bentgrass fairways are a delight. The greens complexes are known for subtle undulations, rewarding thoughtful approach shots over raw power. Golfers say this course offers some appealing links-style play with notable Philly skyline views, though most find the overall experience falls short of expectations. Reviewers consistently cite slow pace as a major drawback, with rounds taking considerably longer than desired, particularly during peak season. The facility receives criticism for its lack of amenities—no driving range, no walking allowed, challenging parking, and an unusually long trek from clubhouse to first tee. While some appreciate the layout and scenic backdrop including views of the airport and stadium, many feel the course is overrated and overpriced for what amounts to a typical public-course experience with frustrating operational issues.
Very slow course, expect a long round. They don’t allow walking. Parking can be tough. The first tee box is literally about a half mile away from the clubhouse. No range. Overrated because you can see the airport and eagles stadium on the course for one hole.
Some good links play with the Philly skyline in the back
Cool track but your typical public course experience. Expensive and slow, more fun during the off season when it’s less crowded
