Favorite Streamsong course with great variety of challenges, dramatic use of blowout bunkers and water. Definitely need a caddie first time! Doak shines again.
Awesome design
Tough for me to settle on a rating for Blue, I found the front 9 to be the best 9 at Streamsong and the back the relative weakest (still great). So much more interesting than typical Florida golf, Streamsong Blue has strategy, elevation changes, and drama without the constant threat of losing balls.
Better green complexes than Red IMO. Can’t go wrong with either.

The Blue is a fun course with a unique layout. Good mix of long and short holes. Conditions usually very solid.
This course absolutely rocks. If I could only play one course at the resort the rest of my life it would be Blue. Tom Doak absolutely knocked this one out of the park. I think the front 9 on blue might be one of the best 9 hole stretches I’ve ever played. Everyone talks about the holes that get photographed a lot and those are great holes, but I think my favorite hole on the entire course might be the short par 4 hole 6. It’s such a classic doak risk/reward masterpiece. The greens on Blue can give even some of the best putters issues, especially if it’s verticut or just rained. I would forsure recommend getting a caddy here and it will enhance the experience (shoutout Beans, Connor, and Mike). Bonus Tip: get the frozen transfusions and fresh tacos
There’s a reason thousands of people flock to middle of nowhere Florida inland away from beach’s each year. It’s because doak, C&C, Gil, and soon to be DMK have built a cathedral of golf. Everyone comes away from Streamsong with a different favorite course and mine was the blue. For 18 straight holes Tom Doak takes you on an unforgettable ride. From the first hole with a tee box carved from the top of a dune Doak sets the stage for the round. The blue course has the perfect blend of playability and variety. The average player will have a ton of fun chasing pars on a course that isn’t overly difficult but the more advanced player will understand the paths Doak has laid out for their quest of birdies. There is no bad hole on this track. The stretch of 5,6,7 might be the best stretch of golf in the resort. The par 5s are a blast, the par 3s are jaw dropping, and the par 4s are the most unique set of 4s I think I’ve ever played. The land is exquisite. The green sites are to die for. The turf is immaculate. For those who arnt believers in links golf one loop around blue will change your life. I advise you to take a caddy and grab a six pack of little paynes creek. It’s courses like blue that have given Doak a cult following and I encourage you to come drink the kookaid with me.
Streamsong Blue is special in the fact that if someone blindfolded you and took you there, you would have no idea you are in the middle of Florida. It is so refreshing compared to the other boring and flat courses in Florida. The mounds and sand dunes are just as epic as Ireland. The routing is superb flowing through the property. The course is scoreable if you keep your ball in play, but it can jump up and bite you quick! Streamsong is a bucket list destination and one every golfer should have on their list.
Doak at his best with wide fairways, wild contours, and greens that make you think twice. The course flows through dunes and ridges like it’s been there forever. Subtle, strategic, and endlessly replayable, Streamsong Blue rewards brains over brawn.
