Thornberry Creek at Oneida features the Iroquois nine as part of its multi-course facility on the Oneida Nation reservation in northeastern Wisconsin, roughly fifteen minutes west of Green Bay. Bob Lohmann and Rick Jacobson designed the courses here in the early 2000s, creating layouts that work with the property's rolling terrain and natural wetlands characteristic of the region's glacial landscape. The Iroquois nine serves as one of the routing options at the facility, which operates with multiple nine-hole loops that can be combined for eighteen-hole rounds. The design incorporates native grasses and strategic bunkering typical of Lohmann's work in the upper Midwest, where he has built numerous courses across Wisconsin and neighboring states. The terrain features moderate elevation changes and wooded corridors, with several holes playing along or across wetland areas that require thoughtful club selection and course management. Thornberry Creek gained broader attention when it hosted the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic from 2017 through 2019, bringing professional women's golf to Wisconsin and showcasing the property's championship potential. The tournament used a combination of the facility's nines to create the competitive eighteen-hole routing. The club operates as a public facility owned by the Oneida Nation, offering access to golfers throughout the region and serving as an economic development asset for the tribe.
