Okay so the Belfry is a pretty special venue, past its prime no doubt, but still retains its aura. Insane pro shop, great practice facilities and just pure golf heaven at every turn. The Brab plays really well, pretty pure course all round, not immaculate but very clean. It’s a tricky course and very fun layout with sand traps, water and trees making life hard. The stand out and biggest point booster for me, the sausage rolls at half way. I mean this, 0.5 boost just for the sausage rolls. The best I have ever touched, some of the best food I’ve ever eaten let alone sausage rolls. The course and venue probably would be a 7.9 for me maybe a little higher but the sausage rolls solidly put this mid 8s. The weather was so bad for our round so probably unfairly knocks this down for me but as an all round experience mid 8s seems right to me, course alone mid 7/high 7s would seem fair.
