The Bedens Brook Course
Skillman, NJ, USA

The Bedens Brook at The Bedens Brook Club whispers of a bygone era, a genteel refuge tucked into the rolling hunt country of Skillman, New Jersey. Its traditional, parkland layout unfolds across subtly contoured terrain, demanding strategic positioning and a keen understanding of the ground game. The club is known for its tight knit culture and relaxed atmosphere. Beyond the golf, Bedens Brook offers a slice of refined country club life. The clubhouse, a hub of social activity, echoes with the stories of generations who have shared camaraderie and celebrated life's milestones within its walls. While the course maintains a relatively low profile on the national stage, Bedens Brook offers a unique and rewarding experience for those seeking a classic golf experience within a welcoming and inclusive community.

Great course that makes you really play the course and not just mindlessly hit your shots. The rough and bunkers are real obstacles: if you want to score then you’ll have to keep it in the fairway. The course is in great condition and has some amazing views (super fun to play at sunset). The practice facility is superb here, full grass range that’s 300+ yards, a short game practice area with ball bag stations set up, and a putting green. Not to mention coolers filled with iced water and and of course complimentary balls—none of this buy-a-bucket-of-balls nonsense which should never be a thing at a private club. I would spend all day practicing here if I could. Added bonus: Very nice locker rooms and clubhouse. Pro shop staff are also very nice
