Stockley Park occupies a reclaimed industrial site near Uxbridge in west London, part of a larger business park development that transformed former brickworks and landfill into a landscaped corporate campus during the 1980s. Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the course, which opened in 1993, bringing his characteristic American parkland style to the urban fringe of Greater London. The layout represents one of Jones's later European projects and reflects his established design principles: strategic bunkering, water hazards as both visual and tactical elements, and greens that reward precise approach play. The course plays through mature tree plantings and around several lakes, creating a self-contained golfing environment distinct from the surrounding office buildings and motorway proximity.
