Hideaway Hills Golf Club sits in the Pocono Mountains region of northeastern Pennsylvania, near the small community of Kresgeville in Monroe County. The course was designed by Joe Farda Sr., a regional architect active in Pennsylvania and neighboring states during the mid-to-late twentieth century. Farda's work typically emphasized playability for a range of skill levels while working within the natural terrain features common to the area. The Pocono region's rolling topography and forested character shape the playing experience at Hideaway Hills. Courses in this part of Pennsylvania generally feature elevation changes, tree-lined fairways, and seasonal conditions that vary considerably from spring through fall. The layout likely incorporates these natural elements, with holes routed through wooded corridors and across varied terrain that demands thoughtful club selection and course management. Hideaway Hills serves primarily as a member and daily-fee facility for golfers in the Lehigh Valley and Pocono regions. The club provides a mountain golf experience accessible to residents and visitors drawn to the area's recreational offerings. Like many courses in northeastern Pennsylvania, it operates within a seasonal window and caters to golfers seeking a traditional round in a natural setting away from more densely developed areas.
