Cross Creek Golf Club

Cross Creek Golf Club occupies a wooded site in Beltsville, a community in Prince George's County between Washington, D.C. and Baltimore. The course was designed by Ed Ault and Tom Clark, architects who worked extensively in the Mid-Atlantic region during the latter decades of the twentieth century. The routing moves through rolling, tree-lined corridors typical of the Maryland Piedmont. Mature hardwoods frame many holes, and Cross Creek—the waterway for which the course is named—comes into play on several occasions, adding both visual interest and strategic consequence to approach shots and tee balls. The design incorporates elevation changes that require golfers to account for uphill and downhill lies, and the greens present moderate undulation. Cross Creek serves the northern Prince George's County golf market as a daily-fee facility. Its location near major transportation routes makes it accessible to golfers from the greater Washington metropolitan area.
