Baltimore Country Club's East Course, nestled in the rolling hills of Timonium, Maryland, is a testament to early 20th-century golf course design principles. Could be best course in the mid Atlantic. Tricky design with a lot of hidden false fronts and swales. Greens are impeccable. Very well designed clubhouse and indoor/outdoor social area.
Haven’t had as much fun playing a course in a while. Really awesome A.W. design. The large greens make it gettable, but depending on the pin placements, they can get real tricky. Clubhouse is great and staff was very hospitable.
Very lucky to call BCC home. Tillinghast made great use of the natural rolling landscape on the East course. His large greens with plenty of undulation make for some quick and adventurous putts. Great course for the big stick, but your approach and distance control better be good or Tilly makes you pay. Always a treat to walk this track.
A wonderful course, everything about it is top notch. I grew up nearby and rode past it a million times. The par 3 4th is right on the road and my first introduction to what a golf hole is. How lucky am I to have a Tillinghast par 3 as my first concept of a golf hole. Got to play it a few years ago and it was everything I hoped it would be.
One of Tillinghast's very best. Perfect mix of challenging and interesting. Nice vibe there. Members know what they have.
Underrated Tillinghast. Green complexes are as good as you will find. 2 par 5s are as advertised
Always a fun time at Five Farms. Conditioning is always great, greens can be really turned up in peak season. Course I want to play every single day. Mix up the tees and you have a ton of variety day to day. 10 and 14 are my favorite holes on property. 1 & 2 are TOUGH openers. Get over the road in 9 and you’re in good shape.
Awesome property and a very fun design. Played from the tips which is a much better routing as you can still hit driver on the dog legs. Tillinghast features very evident.
Biased since it’s the home track but one of my all time favorites
