Stunning collection of great holes. Par 3 #2 is a beauty. 15 is an insanely hard par 4. Drivable 14 is the signature hole. If this course was not at Bandon it might be ranked a lot higher because it doesn’t quite fit in with the rest of the ocean views vibe.
I love Bandon, Trails my 1/1B every time, if you are going and not playing them all make sure you play trails, a pure track and great time
Didn’t get to finish the round due to daylight but what a course. Get all the best terrains. Can’t wait to go back and fully experience all 18.
If you ask the caddies this is their favorite. Probably the one you could play the most and still be intrigued. Tree-lined but not tight, lots of room to miss. Very peaceful and a nice reprieve from the winds
Very cool walk through the different topography of the area, sand dunes to the meadow to the coastal forest. Much more of a traditional course than the others. I found it to be very difficult but could see where this would be the one that grew on me the most if I played multiple times.
My favorite of the Bandon Courses
One of the best courses you’ll ever play at the best place you’ll ever play and stay. Playing in the winter is incredible value $110 a round and most of these pics are January who says it rains all the time in Oregon. Best collection of par 3’s on property maybe anywhere imo. Toughest walk at the resort but walk it you must. You have to play at Bandon at least once I’m lucky it’s a 2.5 hour drive and play here a few times a year.
Toughest at Bandon resort but amazing scenery & layout.
For me this is far and away my favorite course at Bandon. Doesn’t make it the best necessarily but it is an A Grade golf course. Approach shots are where the fun is at. There is one absolute crime of a hole, I believe 13. Short downhill par 4.
The long standing joke is that real ball knowers pick Trails as their favorite, but there’s a reason for that…it is the best course on the property, for real. There’s something incredibly peaceful about the valley holes that almost is reminiscent of Pine Valley.
