LAS VEGAS PAIUTE GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 Las Vegas, NV, USA
Designed by Pete Dye

Wolf, at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort, stands as Pete Dye's defiant roar in the Nevada desert. He unapologetically sculpted a massive canvas of unrelenting challenges, a stark departure from the tamer desert courses that often dot the Vegas landscape.
This is Dye at his most aggressively strategic. Wide fairways belie the danger lurking on either side – penal waste areas and Dye's signature railroad ties framing greens and adding a visual menace. The course is unforgiving, known to frustrate even the most accomplished player, with a series of forced carries over water and strategically placed bunkers demanding confident, well-executed shots. It is considered to be the longest course in Nevada, where desert winds further complicate club selection.
Wolf's lack of tournament pedigree contributes to its charm. It's a place where weekend warriors can test their mettle against a design meant to intimidate, while those with local ties can find solace in knowing it is their own little piece of the Paiute reservation.
After a round that is sure to require a bit of humility, players can retreat to the clubhouse, where the "Paiute Burger" is a local favorite, a fitting reward for conquering (or simply surviving) Dye's desert beast.
Reviews
Great course! One of the first I've played which was extremely tough. Good food, good drinks, good snacks.
Unreal for December
Played here on my buddy’s bachelor party it was 100 degrees on the strip but 85 here. Easily 15/20 degrees cooler here. Always a great option in the summer months while in vegas. Really enjoyable round and is somewhat affordable comparatively to some of the other tracks in vegas. The course has a ton of challenging shots but invites you to score
Excellent facilities. Great scenery. Good value compared to most Vegas courses.
Pristine, but you pay for it. It’s long but really fun!
Decent Vegas course
