Aliante Golf Club

Aliante Golf Club opened in 2005 as part of the Aliante master-planned community in North Las Vegas, designed by Gary Panks. The course was developed to serve both the residential community and the broader Las Vegas golf market, offering a public-access facility in the northern reaches of the valley where golf course development had been less concentrated than in Henderson and Summerlin. The layout occupies desert terrain characteristic of the region, with the design working within the natural topography and incorporating native desert landscaping alongside maintained playing corridors. Panks routed the course to take advantage of elevation changes and distant mountain views that frame the northern Las Vegas Valley. The design features strategic bunkering and water hazards that come into play on several holes, creating variety in shot requirements across the eighteen holes. The course serves as the centerpiece of the Aliante community amenities and operates as a daily-fee facility. Its location north of downtown Las Vegas positions it somewhat apart from the concentration of resort and championship courses found elsewhere in the metropolitan area, giving it a more neighborhood-oriented character while still maintaining standards for conditioning and playability that meet expectations in the competitive Las Vegas golf market.
