Valley View Course
Utica, NY, USA

Nestled in the heart of Utica, Valley View Golf Club offers a classic golfing experience rooted in upstate New York's sporting heritage. The course, a product of mid-century design sensibilities, unfolds across gently rolling terrain, a departure from the steeper slopes more typical of the region. Players will find that a controlled draw is useful off the tee on many holes to avoid wayward tee shots, given the doglegs that gently bend throughout the course. While not typically cited among the nation's most storied layouts, Valley View has provided a welcoming home for local golfers for generations. It stands as a testament to the enduring appeal of accessible, community-focused golf. Valley View fosters a genuine camaraderie among its members. The club hosts a lively calendar of member events, including the annual "Valley View Cup," a hotly contested competition that has become a local tradition. Perhaps no tradition is more important, however, than "burger night" in the clubhouse after a round, where members trade stories and laughter over the club's famous and deeply satisfying burgers.
Nice RTJ SR municipal course. Decent terrain, course moves up and down the hills providing some nice views. Has some good holes I’d play it again
