Riddell's Bay Golf & Country Club occupies a peninsula on Bermuda's Great Sound in Warwick Parish, making it the oldest course on the island. Devereux Emmet designed the original layout in 1922, establishing a routing that takes full advantage of the property's coastal setting and natural limestone terrain. Ed Beidel later contributed refinements to the design. The course measures modest by contemporary standards, reflecting both its golden-age origins and the constraints of its peninsula site, but the compact routing creates an intimate relationship with the surrounding water.
