Butterfield Country Club

Butterfield Country Club’s dual courses, known as Red and Blue, represent classic midwestern golf within a traditionally understated, yet deeply ingrained, club culture. Situated in Oak Brook, Illinois, the club prioritizes an active, engaged membership over national recognition. Designed during the mid-20th century, the Red and Blue courses present a mature parkland style, characterized by tree-lined fairways and subtly contoured greens. It’s a course that gently favors a draw, with many holes doglegging to the left. The Blue Course is known to be the slightly more challenging of the two.
