Might be Raynor’s best routing, absolute gem. 10-15 is easily one of best stretches in golf.
Ravine is the only word that matters here. It’s well documented, but 10-16 is as good as it gets. With that being the case 2 and 4-6 are almost just as good. Fantastic golf course. 11 has a case for the best golf hole in the region.
Seth Raynor did his magic laying out this course while not placing a single hole on Lake Michigan. Holes 10-15 is one of the best stretches of holes you’ll find anywhere and the greens are lightning with much undulation. Any day at Shoreacres is a magical day.
Give me 10-16 on ShoreAcres and a drink post round on the back veranda and I’ll die a happy man. 1 of 3 courses left that have the original Raynor templates with exact dimensions left.
