The routing at Silver Lakes takes advantage of the wooded, undulating landscape, with holes playing through corridors of hardwoods and pines. Multiple tee boxes allow the courses to accommodate players of varying abilities, though the back tees present substantial tests of length and accuracy. The RTJ Golf Trail operates as a public golf network managed by a state pension fund, making championship-caliber design accessible at daily-fee rates. Silver Lakes includes lodging and practice facilities that support both casual visitors and competitive events.
