Roger Rulewich spent more than three decades as senior design associate to Robert Trent Jones Sr., becoming one of the most experienced contributors to the Jones design empire. Following Jones's death in 2000, Rulewich established his own practice and completed numerous projects that had been in development, maintaining the bold, strategic style he helped refine during his long tenure with the Jones office.
His independent work includes a substantial portfolio across the eastern United States, with notable designs at Arcola Country Club in New Jersey, Chanticleer at Greenville Country Club in South Carolina, and Woodway Country Club in Connecticut. Rulewich also played a significant role in completing several courses on Alabama's Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, including layouts at Cambrian Ridge, Grand National, and Capitol Hill. His design approach emphasizes strategic options and dramatic landforms, characteristics that defined much of the Jones legacy.
