Harbor Point Course
Harbor Springs, MI, USA

Harbor Point Golf Club sits on a private peninsula in Harbor Springs, Michigan, along the northern shore of Little Traverse Bay. The course was designed by David Foulis, a Scottish professional and course architect who worked primarily in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Foulis was among the early wave of Scottish golf professionals who brought traditional design principles to American courses during golf's formative era in the United States. The course occupies terrain characteristic of northern Michigan's resort region, with mature hardwoods and views across the bay waters. The routing reflects the design sensibilities of its era, when courses followed natural land contours and worked within the constraints of the available property. Harbor Point's setting on the peninsula provides a distinctive backdrop, with holes playing through wooded corridors and others offering exposure to the lakeside environment. Harbor Point Golf Club operates as a private facility within the Harbor Point community, which has maintained its character as a summer enclave since the late 1800s. The club reflects the traditions of Michigan's historic resort communities, where golf has been part of the social fabric for more than a century. The course serves members and their guests during the northern Michigan golf season, which typically runs from late spring through early fall.

genuinely one of the most enjoyable rounds i’ve had. the clubhouse is a marvel to look at; unfortunately the offerings within leave something to be desired, however, the course itself is so fun. it’s pretty short from the tips, just under 6000, but the course makes you hit every kind of shot in this fun layout. the course was in immaculate shape, with some great views of the area and traverse bay as well. really enjoyed my round here
