Galgorm Castle Golf Club sits in the grounds of a historic estate along the River Maine near Ballymena in County Antrim. The routing takes advantage of the natural topography and water features, with several holes playing alongside or across the Maine, which winds through the property and comes into play on multiple occasions. Water hazards feature prominently on both nines, and the design incorporates the estate's mature specimen trees as both visual landmarks and tactical obstacles. The course measures over 7,000 yards from the championship tees, providing length alongside the need for course management. Galgorm Castle has established itself as a tournament venue in Northern Ireland, hosting professional events on the European Challenge Tour and other competitive fixtures.
