Carlson Farm, one of two championship courses at Greensboro Country Club, quietly upholds a tradition of understated excellence in the heart of North Carolina's Piedmont region. This parkland-style layout, gently rolling through the terrain west of the city, offers a classic experience marked more by strategic nuance than dramatic flair. Designed by Donald Ross disciple, Ellis Maples, Carlson Farm presents a fair test with tree-lined fairways that reward thoughtful placement. While not a championship venue of national repute, it has hosted numerous state and regional amateur events. It underwent renovations in the early 2000s, overseen by Kris Spence.
