Danang Golf Club

Danang Golf Club, designed by Greg Norman and opened in 2010, occupies a distinctive coastal site in central Vietnam where the South China Sea meets the Marble Mountains. The course sits within an integrated resort development along Non Nuoc Beach, approximately five miles south of Da Nang's city center. Norman's routing takes advantage of the property's natural dune formations and ocean frontage, with several holes playing directly along the shoreline and others framed by the dramatic limestone outcrops of the Marble Mountains to the west. The layout features significant elevation changes uncommon in coastal Southeast Asian golf, with holes routed through and over the property's natural topography. The front nine moves inland through more protected terrain before the routing opens to ocean views on the back nine. Multiple holes play along or toward the beach, with the par-3 16th particularly exposed to prevailing winds off the water. The course incorporates native grasses and coastal vegetation in its presentation, with large waste areas and strategic bunkering characteristic of Norman's design approach. Danang Golf Club has hosted professional tournaments on the Asian Tour and serves as one of several championship courses in Da Nang's growing golf tourism market. The facility operates as part of a larger resort property with international membership and significant visitor play from throughout Asia and beyond. The combination of ocean setting, mountain backdrop, and Norman's routing across varied terrain distinguishes the course within Vietnam's competitive golf landscape.
