Chariot Run is one of Indiana’s most underrated public courses. Wide fairways tempt you to swing freely, but the thick rough and slick bentgrass greens demand precision. It’s a fun, scenic layout that rewards good strategy, and the conditions are consistently some of the best in the region. Definitely worth the trip if you’re anywhere near Louisville/French Lick. Played with Sigey in fall 2025. One of the best all-around experiences near Louisville at such a reasonable price point. Super fun track where no two holes are similar and lots of risk/reward.
My vote for the most underrated course I’ve played. This place absolutely slaps. It’s big, beautiful, but a little bit off the beaten path. Playing conditions are always pristine and the natural bunkering style makes each one unique. The short 4s on each side were a highlight for me. Number 6 plays like a driveable road hole, and 13 is a design I haven’t seen elsewhere.
