The best courses you can play in Ringoes, New Jersey

“Course was in decent shape, still played firm despite it being in the middle of a hot rainy spring/early summer. Greens were a bit slow but the layout is good enough to overcome rather uninteresting greens. Really fun risk reward shots and some cool views with the lack of trees.”

“Love the concept of the holes paying homage to games great architects. Course was in much better shape last year This year the greens and tee boxes were so beat up. Had to fix multiple ball marks just to hit a putt, and the par 3 tee boxes (especially 6) were covered in divot holes or weeds.”

“Great course, sorta a hidden gem. Can be challenging to get a good free time here if not a local. Course is well kept and has 3 separate 9’s. Grass range and putting area well kept. Staff are alright but not the nicest.”

“Layout is interesting and conditions are usually good enough. Some cool holes and features with some serious elevation change. Good mix of long and short holes. Not a must play, but a pretty fun day overall.”

“This is my local muni course and it has everything that a local uni needs. Decent practice range (it would be so much better if they opened the grass range that they have, but for some reason it’s always closed), cheap tee times, alright course conditions, decent course…”

“One of the more over priced courses in NJ. Avoid at all cost if it rains as this place floods bad and will have multiple holes washed out. They won’t cancel tee time though and will just have you play 9 twice.”

“The condition of the course is mid, the greens are painfully slow and usually not in good condition. Somewhat narrow but short, good for a beginner (like me) because scoring feels possible with one well placed shot.”

“Course difficult on some holes, basic on others. Very hilly course, decent amount of houses. Big elevation changes.”
