Natadola Bay Golf Course occupies a dramatic coastal site along Fiji's Coral Coast in the Western Division, approximately 40 kilometers from Nadi. Designed by Fijian-born PGA Tour champion Vijay Singh in collaboration with course architect Greg Letsche, the layout opened in 2009 as part of the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa development. The course represents Singh's first design work and reflects his desire to create a championship-caliber facility in his home country, bringing international-standard golf to the South Pacific island nation. The routing takes advantage of the property's varied topography, moving through coastal dunes, elevated ridgelines, and tropical vegetation zones. Several holes play along or near the shoreline of Natadola Bay, with views across the Coral Sea. The design incorporates natural sand areas and native grasses characteristic of links-style courses, though the tropical climate and palm-studded landscape create a distinctly Pacific Island character. Elevation changes throughout the property provide strategic interest and panoramic vistas. The course serves both resort guests at the adjacent InterContinental property and local golfers, functioning as Fiji's premier championship golf facility. The layout has hosted various regional amateur competitions and corporate events. As one of the few full-length courses in the South Pacific islands, Natadola Bay represents a significant golf destination for travelers to Fiji, combining Singh's playing experience with Letsche's design expertise to create a course suited to the unique coastal terrain and tropical conditions of the Western Division.
