Vijay Singh

Vijay Singh is best known as a Fijian professional golfer who turned professional in 1982 and became one of the game's most decorated players. After early success on the Asia Golf Circuit, Safari Circuit, and European Tour, he joined the PGA Tour in 1993, winning the Buick Classic and earning Rookie of the Year honors. Singh captured three major championships during his career: the PGA Championship in 1998 and 2004, and the Masters in 2000. His 2004 season ranks among the finest in golf history, with nine victories that propelled him to the World No. 1 ranking.

Beyond his playing career, Singh has contributed several course designs primarily in the Asia-Pacific region.
