Timbergate at Timbergate Golf Club

Timbergate Golf Club sits in Edinburgh, Indiana, a small town roughly forty miles south of Indianapolis in the rolling terrain of Johnson County. The course was designed by Clyde Johnston in collaboration with professional golfer Fuzzy Zoeller, who won the 1979 Masters and 1984 U.S. Open. Johnston, a North Carolina-based architect, has built courses primarily across the Midwest and Southeast, often working with modest budgets to create playable layouts for daily-fee and semi-private facilities. Zoeller's involvement brought a player's perspective to the design process, though Johnston handled the technical routing and construction details.
