The routing moves through mixed woodland and open parkland, with fairways often framed by mature trees and newer plantings. Several holes feature pronounced doglegs and elevated tee shots that reveal strategic options from above. The bunkering style is expansive and sculptural, with deep faces and irregular edges that give the course a modern, muscular appearance. London Golf Club operates as a private members' club and has hosted professional events, including multiple European Tour tournaments in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
