Farmington Country Club's South/East combination represents a composite eighteen drawn from the club's original twenty-seven holes, designed by Fred Findlay and opened in the mid-1960s. Findlay, a regional architect active in the Mid-Atlantic during the postwar golf boom, routed the holes across property that transitions between open farmland and wooded corridors, creating variety in playing character and visual setting.
