Old Trail Course
Crozet, VA, USA

Nestled in the heart of Virginia's burgeoning wine country, Old Trail Golf Club provides a pastoral respite from the surrounding vineyards, embodying a modern golf experience rooted in classic principles. The course, carved into the rolling foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, presents a visually stunning parkland layout characterized by dramatic elevation changes and strategic bunkering. While it doesn't favor any particular style of play, golfers will certainly be challenged with its undulating greens and doglegs. Designed by Ed Carton, Old Trail presents a demanding yet fair test for players of all skill levels. Carton routed the course to take full advantage of the natural contours, creating memorable vistas from several tee boxes. While Old Trail hasn’t played host to any major professional championships, the club maintains a strong commitment to amateur golf and hosts several regional events throughout the year. Old Trail is a cornerstone of the Crozet community, a hub where families and friends gather, and where the spirit of camaraderie thrives as much as the competition on the course. In addition to golf, members and guests enjoy a fully-equipped clubhouse, bar and restaurant, swimming and tennis facilities.
