The South and East nines reflect Devlin and von Hagge's signature style, with water coming into play on multiple holes and substantial sand complexes framing greens and fairways. The routing navigates around residential properties and interconnected lakes that serve both aesthetic and drainage purposes in the low-lying terrain. Palm trees, native grasses, and flowering plants provide color and definition throughout the layout. Boca Lago operates as a private country club with an active membership drawn from the surrounding residential community.
