A meandering creek, affectionately known as "Raintree Run," bisects several holes, demanding strategic play without penalizing the less experienced golfer. It isn't particularly known on a national level. While the original design is often credited to a regional architect, little documentation exists to confirm the attribution. Raintree’s layout favors a right-to-left ball flight, rewarding players who can shape their shots with a controlled fade. The par-5 18th, a reachable dogleg left, has decided many a club championship, offering a thrilling risk-reward finish. The club has remained a family oriented experience and local haven, that has seen significant membership changes, evolving into a more diverse and inclusive community of golf enthusiasts. Known locally for its outstanding Friday night fish fry, Raintree offers a welcoming atmosphere where players of all skill levels can enjoy the game.
