Point Hardy Golf Club Course
LC

Point Hardy Golf Club, carved into the dramatic bluffs of Cap Estate, St. Lucia, exists where the crashing turquoise waves become a constant companion. The roar of the ocean dictates both strategy and club selection on this modern marvel. Designed by Bill Hanse, Point Hardy feels more like a coastal links grafted onto a volcanic spine. Generous fairways encourage bold drives, but errant shots are swiftly penalized by the relentless trade winds and precipitous drops to the ocean below. The course favors those who can control their ball flight and relish strategic risk-reward decisions on almost every hole. Though it hasn't yet played host to any significant tournaments, Point Hardy has quickly garnered a reputation among discerning golfers as a bucket-list destination. While not steeped in decades of tradition like some of its more established Caribbean counterparts, Point Hardy offers a raw, unforgettable experience. The 19th hole is equally memorable.

Golfers consistently praise this course as one of the most visually stunning layouts in the world, with multiple reviewers ranking it above celebrated destinations like Pebble Beach, Old Head, and Cabot Cliffs for sheer scenic beauty. Most highlight the seemingly impossible clifftop property and credit Coore and Crenshaw's design for creating a strategic and fun routing on challenging terrain. Reviewers consider it the clear standout in the Caribbean, surpassing previous favorites, and describe the experience as worth the journey to St. Lucia on its own merit.

Up there with Turnberry and Pebble Beach as the most scenic courses in the world. Unreal experience and worth the travel to St. Lucia to play
Most scenic course imaginable. Truly unbelievable setting. Coore and Crenshaw working their magic on a piece of property that shouldn’t be able to fit such a fun and strategic course.
The most visually stunning golf course I’ve ever played. Better than Old Head, Pebble and Cabot Cliffs.
This is the best course in the Caribbean by far (used to be Teeth of the Dog)
