Emirates Golf Club

The Par 3 Course at Emirates Golf Club serves as a compact complement to the club's two championship layouts in Dubai. Opened alongside the club's development in the Dubai Sports City area, this short course provides a practice and recreational option within one of the Middle East's most established golf facilities. Emirates Golf Club itself dates to 1988 and was the first grass course in the region, designed by Karl Litten. The Par 3 layout features holes that allow golfers to work on their short game and iron play in a less time-intensive format than the club's Majlis and Faldo courses. The routing takes advantage of the desert landscape that characterizes golf in Dubai, with fairways and greens maintained to high standards amid the arid surroundings. Water features and strategic bunkering typical of modern desert golf design appear throughout the course. Emirates Golf Club is known for hosting the Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour, though that event plays on the Majlis Course. The Par 3 Course functions primarily as a members' amenity and a training ground, offering a setting where players can refine their approach shots and putting without committing to a full round. The club's distinctive clubhouse, designed to evoke Bedouin tent architecture, overlooks the golf facilities and provides dining and social spaces that have become recognizable features of Dubai's golf scene.
