OLD OVERTON CLUB
πΊπΈ Vestavia Hills, AL, USA
Designed by Jerry Pate, Tom Fazio

Old Overton Club, nestled in the rolling hills of Vestavia Hills, is where Southern hospitality meets challenging, classic golf. The course evokes a timeless feel and has a charm uniquely its own.
Originally designed by Bill Bergin, Old Overton takes advantage of the naturally undulating terrain of the Birmingham suburbs, a parkland style layout defined by mature hardwoods and subtle elevation changes. Players quickly learn that strategic course management is more rewarding than brute force, as doglegs and thoughtfully placed bunkers can penalize overly aggressive play.
While Old Overton may not be a household name on the national stage, it holds a special place in the hearts of its members. The club fosters a strong sense of community, evident in the lively camaraderie around the 19th hole, where stories are shared and matches replayed long after the final putt drops.
