THE RESERVE VINEYARDS AND GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 Aloha, OR, USA
Designed by Bob Cupp

The North Course at The Reserve Vineyards, nestled amongst the rolling hills west of Portland, presents a distinctive challenge forged from Oregon's fertile landscape. This 1997 John Fought design, known for his minimalist shaping philosophy, embraces a more traditional feel than its South Course sibling. It's carved from gently sloping terrain and boasts bentgrass fairways framed by native grasses and strategically placed bunkers. The North favors a strategic player, demanding thoughtful approaches and a solid short game. While it eschews dramatic elevation changes, the subtle contours and closely mown run-off areas around the greens ask plenty of discerning.
Though the North Course hasn't hosted any major professional championships, it’s a fixture on the regional amateur circuit, challenging the Northwest’s best players with its nuanced layout. The course's appeal lies in its understated elegance and demanding precision, qualities highly valued by its membership.
The Reserve Vineyards boasts a strong sense of community and is known for its active men's and women's leagues. Members often gather at the clubhouse after a round, enjoying the convivial atmosphere and stunning views. The club is also host to many corporate retreats and regional championship qualifiers.
