Muirfield Village Course
Dublin, OH, USA

Muirfield Village is Jack Nicklaus's love letter to Augusta National, a course born from his desire to bring the Masters experience to Ohio. Set in the rolling, wooded terrain north of Dublin, it favors power and precision, though its sculpted fairways and strategically placed bunkers can quickly punish wayward shots. The course, while visually stunning, has subtle undulations that require a steady hand, rewarding the golfer who can think their way around the course, rather than muscle it. Nicklaus, with later refinements by himself, sought to create a challenging yet fair test, reminiscent of the great championship venues he conquered. Muirfield Village plays host annually to the Memorial Tournament, a prestigious event on the PGA Tour, drawing top players to battle for a title steeped in history and honoring legends of the game. Beyond its championship pedigree, Muirfield Village fosters a close-knit community known for its commitment to the game and a rich tapestry of stories. The club prides itself on its respect for the game, steeped in tradition and its members, who uphold a certain standard that you'd come to expect from a course as prestigious as Muirfield Village.

Golfers say this is an exceptionally challenging course that demands precision, particularly off the tee, with several noting that wayward shots lead to big numbers and that the design often feels tailored for professional play. Most praise the immaculate conditioning, lightning-fast greens, and top-notch facilities and atmosphere, with the back nine and overall amenities earning special mention. Reviewers consistently describe the experience as memorable and worth playing despite the difficulty, with some happily returning for multiple rounds in a day, though a few acknowledge the heavy traffic and punishing layout can test patience. The consensus is that this is a bucket-list venue where the quality and prestige outweigh the bruising scorecards.

Ran through like a cheap hooker, but in as good of shape as it could be in considering the traffic.
Great course, just so difficult. A lot of holes that are designed for pros. Would hate to play everyday. Great facilities and atmosphere
You get kicked in the teeth for 18 holes but it’s still awesome. Played 36 the last 2 days and was able to stay in the villas and couldn’t find the club face til about hole 32. Not the place you want to be struggling off the tee. And if you miss a green go ahead and write down double. But walking up 18 this afternoon I happpily would’ve went out for another 18. Milkshakes are a 10/10. Buckeye is the best but strawberry Oreo is a sleeper.
Really fun track, back 9 and amenties put this place over the top.
Best place ever
What else is there to say? This place is legendary for a reason. Everything was top notch. Played it a week after the Memorial and greens were LIGHTNING quick. Played one of my best rounds ever and still only managed an 84 (7.9 Handicap). If you can somehow get on, soak in every step on this cathedral of a golf course
