MARIETTA COUNTRY CLUB
🇺🇸 Kennesaw, GA, USA
Designed by Bob Cupp

Marietta Country Club’s Mt. View/Lake View nines present a classically Georgian golfing experience, sculpted from the rolling hills northwest of Atlanta. These nines, while not widely celebrated on a national stage, offer a challenging and enjoyable test for players of all abilities amid a mature, parkland setting.
Architect Joe Lee originally designed these nines, favoring strategic bunkering and subtle elevation changes to defend par. Mt. View, as the name suggests, provides sweeping vistas of the surrounding landscape, while Lake View brings water hazards into play, demanding thoughtful course management. The course encourages a strategic approach, rewarding precise iron play and deft putting on its undulating greens.
Beyond the course, Marietta Country Club fosters a strong sense of community among its members. The club is known for its active men's and women's golf associations and its robust junior golf program, and it has a rich tradition of member-organized tournaments. It's a place where lasting friendships are forged over rounds of golf and shared experiences – and a noted haven for Atlanta area business executives.
