Dr. Alister MacKenzie, in his Australian tour, reportedly declared Metropolitan’s greens the finest he had ever seen, a testament to the meticulous craftsmanship that defines the playing experience to this day. The original design, by J.B. Carr, was refined over the decades by a series of notable architects, including Dick Wilson and, more recently, Neil Crafter and Paul Mogford.
