Architects Bob Cupp and Tom Kite, originally envisioned the routing, but Paul Fireman spearheaded the redesign. Liberty National has quickly established itself as a stage for elite competition, having hosted The Barclays (now The Northern Trust) multiple times, the Presidents Cup, and a number of LPGA events. The club caters to a high-profile membership, attracting leaders in business, finance, and entertainment. It is as known for its exclusivity and modern clubhouse as it is for its challenging layout and notable tournament history.
