This course is fantastic. It’s a public course that gets lots of play but they maintain a great grounds crew that really cares. It’s a thinking man’s course. You rarely have a flat lie and you almost always have a decision to make. Crazy undulating greens, wild sloping fairways, but it’s still fair. My favorite part of this place is that you get some really sneaky vistas. For a course in the middle of a major city, if you often find yourself at the top of a hill looking out across a massive landscape of 100 foot pines surrounding prehistoric looking lakes and marshes. It’s majestic.
