Killermont at Glasgow Golf Club

Killermont is the home course of Glasgow Golf Club, one of Scotland's oldest golfing institutions, founded in 1787. The club moved to its present site in Bearsden in 1904, where Old Tom Morris laid out the course on gently rolling parkland northwest of Glasgow city center. The routing occupies mature, well-treed terrain that provides a classic parkland character distinct from Scotland's more famous links courses, with the layout offering a peaceful, secluded atmosphere despite its proximity to urban Glasgow.

The course measures around 5,900 yards from the back tees and plays as a par 69, a relatively short but strategic test that emphasizes accuracy and course management over length. The parkland setting features mature specimen trees, particularly beech and oak, that frame fairways and define playing corridors throughout the round.
