Hawarden Golf Club

Hawarden Golf Club sits in the Deeside area of Flintshire in northeast Wales, close to the English border and the city of Chester. The course was designed by Bert Forshaw, a professional golfer and course architect active in the early twentieth century who worked primarily in northwest England and North Wales. The course measures around 6,000 yards from the back tees and presents a traditional parkland test with tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers. The layout includes a mix of short and long par fours, along with reachable and challenging par threes that test different aspects of the game.
