Gresham Golf Course

Gresham Golf Course sits in the city of Gresham, Oregon, roughly fifteen miles east of downtown Portland in the foothills of the Cascade Range. The course was designed by Sam and Ed Hogan, a father-and-son team active in Pacific Northwest golf architecture during the mid-twentieth century. The Hogans worked primarily in Oregon and Washington, creating affordable public courses that emphasized playability and straightforward design principles suited to the region's climate and terrain. The layout occupies gently rolling terrain characteristic of the western Cascade foothills, with Douglas fir and other native conifers framing many holes.
