PUMPKIN RIDGE GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 North Plains, OR, USA
Designed by Bob Cupp
Ghost Creek, carved into the rolling farmland of North Plains, Oregon, whispers tales of shot-making bravery and the humbling power of the Pacific Northwest elements. Carved out of a former pumpkin farm by Bob Cupp, Ghost Creek is a testament to a modern design philosophy that rewards risk, and punishes indecision.
While the fairways are generous, the course's true character emerges in its demanding approaches to the green. The design of the green complexes encourages creative shot-making and strategic thinking, where players must account for subtle undulations and the ever-present coastal breeze. Unlike its sister course, Witch Hollow, this course will favor the player with a natural fade, but only slightly.
Though absent of major championship pedigree, Ghost Creek plays host to many top amateur events in the Pacific Northwest. Ghost Creek is a challenging test for golfers of all skill levels. Off the course, members enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and a surprisingly active social calendar, which is made even more appealing by their famous BBQ Ribs, with an in-house, secret sauce.
Reviews
Great layout would be rated in the mid 8’s if it wasn’t unplayable half the year. Worst draining course I’ve ever played which is sad because the layout is great. Cool holes great visuals play it mid June until first rains late October
