Eagle Point Resort

Eagle Point is a nine-hole course located at Eagle Point Resort on the shores of Lac La Ronge in northern Saskatchewan, approximately 250 kilometers north of Prince Albert. Designed by Jean Poirier, the course occupies a distinctive setting within the boreal forest landscape that characterizes this region of the Canadian Shield. The property sits at the edge of one of Saskatchewan's largest lakes, where the surrounding terrain features exposed bedrock, stands of spruce and pine, and the natural contours typical of glacially-shaped northern topography. The routing works through this forested environment, where golfers encounter elevation changes and playing corridors carved from the native woodland. The boreal setting provides a different character from the prairie courses that dominate southern Saskatchewan golf, with tree-lined fairways and the visual presence of water and rock formations. The course serves both resort guests and local members from La Ronge and the surrounding area, functioning as the primary golf facility in this part of the province.
